I cannot understand what all those sceptic guys want. UX180P is the best Ultra portable device on the market. There is nothing else from the UMPCs that can be compared to it.
All current UMPCs are with bigger 7" screens but with much lower resolution.
And if we compare the CPU, then nothing can be a match-nor Transmeta, nor VIA CPU.
So, I think the price (1800) is fare and good and I am willing to pay it for such a device like UX. But I will never pay the -1000 for Q1 or something similar.

What I and millions of other business users want is a touch type keyboard computer that is about 4 inches by 7.5 inches and less than an inch thick that would use a compatible OS with mainstream desktops. I was and am still hoping a new batch of umpc's will think out of the box and design the proper form factor with this OS. The reason the price is an issue is that so far all devices are not meeting our needs so price is an issue. The current umpc's are too large to be portable and lack touch type keyboard input. Devices like the OQO are also suffering from the same problem, yes it is small but the wrong size with no keyboard. If it had a decent keyboard and would fit in a jacket pocket then the price is well justified.
