It’s yet another addition to the Car PCs that were announced of late.

The iMobile CarPC is a full fledged PC that fits in those double-sized car stereo slots. Yea, it does turn by turn with the built in GPS module and its 6.5-inch touchscreen. But on top of Windows, it runs a top layer UI program, like media center, with big buttons that makes for easier clicking while swerving. The cool thing is that it has both Bluetooth and a PC Card slot.
The PC also has a light sensor that switches the display from day to night mode, Core Duo chips, a 40gb HDD, a DVD drive, half a gig of RAM, an AM/FM tuner, XM hookups, and a 40 watt, 4 channel amp for driving speakers directly.

You must have heard about the UREN (you know how to pronounce it) UMPC that was built for Cars. This seems much better. This device was announced in Intel developer Conference at Seoul from a company called “INFILL” product dubbed the “G4″.

The most important thing about the device is that it’s made for your car, period. They seem have built a lot of custom software that are apt for being used in car. This could potentially replace your main audio, video, GPS, Radio, TV in your car.

in Car UMPC and General.
There has already been a lot of people who have integrated the UMPC in to their cars. Now Intel shows off the new Streetdeck.

The StreetDeck in-car computer has been one of the better ways to navigate an escape from Morten Harket and his a-ha buddies ever since it was unveiled at CES this January, but now they’re packing in some nifty UMPC integration (including internet connection leeching), Yahoo! Music, location-based internet search and iPod support. If you haven’t managed to spot this thing before now, peep the screenshots after the break, or hit up one of those read links for a full breakdown of what Intel was showing off during their keynote yesterday.

in Car UMPC and Hardware.
A New addition to the UMPC family, Uren V1.
This 7″ wide screen car PC UMPC hybrid is called UREN (pronounced “you’re in?) and manufactured somewhere in Korea. It uses a 1GHz processor with 3D support and runs Windows XP operating system. Most of the information we could find on this was on pmpinside.com for a while but it was taken down shortly after it was posted.
UREN v1 measures 192 x 121 x 25 mm’s and weighs 700 grams. No idea how long the battery life is but we know it is 1800mAH. Its 1.8 HDD has a 30GB capacity which should be more than enough for most of your mobile needs. On the right side of the UREN v1 you’ll find two USB ports, audio out port, DMB antenna jack, as well as the stylus storage. On the left hand side you’ll see a miniSD slot and a compact flash slot and the DC jack. (any native Korean speaker may prove us wrong here).
On the back side of UREN v1 there’s an external GPS antenna a small integrated speaker and a camera lens. So we’re pretty sure it is capable of recording at least some short video clips. If you want to hook up your UREN to a projector, no worries, the included extension gives you a VGA out port and an ethernet port.
