The second generation of UMPCs are out and it’s been 13 months since we launched the site. The site needed a change too. One of the design drivers behind the change is to help you view the site better on a UMPC, though the site is not optimized for 800X480 but you can read much easier than before with the sidebars moved to the right.
As you might have noticed the site is powered by Wordpress and the theme was built based on the famious K2. Thank you, yes “you” for your continuous support. If you’ve any feedback please feel free to add’em here.

We wish you all a great year ahead. Last year was a great year for us, with Origami campaign that kicked off early last year to the launch of the UMPCs in March and tones of updates of them all along.
This year is going to be even more interesting that would sport a whole lot of new UMPCs that are next generation. Our site has grown, keeping all the news and updates focused on only UMPC. Thanks to each and every one of you. Not to mention you are the person of the year (2006) as Times calls it - “you” (bloggers and you who commented). Onlyumpc.com had about half a million page views. Well it’s nothing compared to other great sites out there, but still we want to thank you for what we are today.
There is going to be lots and lots of news and updates on UMPCs this month with the CES just close. Tune in. Again we wish you a happy and a prosperous year ahead.

There will be things moving around and nameservers pointing here and there over the next couple of days (hope it’s not that long). If all goes well, you won’t notice anything.

Thanks to all our readers, your support is the most inportant thing that keeps us rolling. I was working on a new design (for about a week now) to basically have a 3 coloumn site what can sport more information than what we had. Finally here is the new refreshing site.
Oh, BTW the previous logo was originally designed for “Only Origami” with the double “O” in mind, but then you know, all you need is an identity so changed that a bit. I’m still working on the Styles of the Forum, it might take a week to be updated.Feel free to comment and add your feedback.

We heard you! and the sweetest forum of all “Vanilla” was there to give us a hand. Go ahead start playing around with it and get all your questions answered. This is open for everyone to browse but only members can post or start a new conversation (just too keep the spammers away). The registration should not take more than few seconds though.
