Samsung Q2 Q1 Ultra — dozens of upgrades

When Samsung launched their Q1 UMPC, personally I did not like the design, look and feel of it. This has changed with the Q2.

The design of the product looks very promising. Here are some of the improvements over the previous design

  • Built in QWERTY keyboard without the sliding or opening of anything.
  • HSDPA & WiBRO support
  • They claim it’s around 1.5 lbs which is great & less than 1 inch.
  • A standard battery that lasts for 4 hrs
  • 6 hrs of battery life with the extended battery
  • A built in camera
  • and more accessories

So what’s coming from Samsung?

question.jpgThoughtfix of UltraMobileGeek says he “got nice” with UMPC team at samsung and got them to answer a lot of questions.

There seems to be a lot of interesting questions and answers, but this was something we liked and would love if it gets done.

If there is one “dream feature” that you would like to have included in the current Q1 line but couldn’t, what is it?

8 hours of battery life on a single charge without having to use an extended battery or other type of power pack and without impacting system performance, size, etc.
