“With Wireless turned on battery life is about 2 to 2.5 hours. With wireless turned off, it’s 3 to 4 hours.” - Hugo Ortega regrading to the EO UMPC

Hugo, come on! You know that is no where near the truth. Try 45 to 60 minutes with WIFI. And 60 to 1:30, with it off.

Boy I hope TabletKiosk fixes the EO’s battery life problem.

i hope they do what samsung did and have an optional extended battery

Well they will, but the problem is under a heavy load, the extended battery won’t get any more than 2:30, which is bad.

If they fix the USB bios problem, you may be able to get 3 - 3:30 hours with they extended battery.

    Hi Michael,

Thanks for taking time to point out what is now considered obvious; the fact remains that I had received the eo the morning of the CeBIT show, and therefore had no track record to go by. All I had to work with, in regards to battery life, was a data sheet provided. It’s all past tense now anyway because the issues have been rectified via a product recall, and TK has also got an extended battery coming too.

Thank you for following UMPC and showing interest in its pros and cons. Thanks OnlyUMPC.com for doing a great task in the UMPC space.
