The company has introduced the all in one multi functional device, that is a PMP, Phone, UMPC, Camera, etc… Wish we had a simple good looking not so pricey UMPC that would rock the market. Though the device looks very similar to the much awaited Averatec AHI (except for it’s odd color combinations)

… it’s new wireless IP-based hybrid portable device equipped with dual OS, dubbed ‘HDPC (Hybrid Dual Portable Computer)’. As the name ‘HDPC’ signifies, its built-in module offers various functions of multiple devices such as digital camera/web camera, MP3P, portable storage, and USB cable.
According to MIU, you can also make a call with the M*free at lower price than conventional mobile phones with better quality than existing VoIP service by utilizing the company’s exclusive IP-based telephone communication which is different from conventional VoIP service.
The M*free is expected to be available in the first half of next year and the price would be between 700,000(KRW) and 800,000(KRW).
That’s ~ US $765 to $875.
