My Life Online = mylo

Sweet - the name is cool. When we saw this device that showed up at Gizmodo, we thought this is something like Sony’s answer to Zune, but the fact it has only 1GB was kind of sad. Let’s see what they have.

sony_mylo.jpg

  • Built in Web browser (with zoom)
  • Ofcourse WiFi
  • Music Player - now supporting Mp3, ATRAC3 and WMA (both secure & unsecure)
  • Photo Viewer
  • Built in MPEG-4 Video Player
  • Slide-out QWERTY keyboard
  • Bundled with Google Talk, Yahoo Messenger & Skype
  • … and more

So this does look attractive. As for the price, Sony has not announced anything. This nifty device falls in between a Zune and an UMPC. Had they thought about few more GIGs in it, things would have been much better (well you can add up to 4GB of Sony’s memory stick duo). cTitanic had also posted about this here.
