We’ve seen & read the details of Vega. Steve at Carrypad has been following the story from the begining and has a lot of information on the device. The company that makes this device “raon digital” has put up more detailed information about the device. The good thing is that this nifty device is much smaller, has a screen size of 4.3″ and still supports a native resolution of 800X480 (which is the native resolution on all the UMPCs with 7″ screen) and has GPS built in.

Note that though Microsoft has this definition for Ultra Mobile PC (UMPC), Vega is marketed as Ultra Portable PC (UPPC). Interesting, Is it not?
Folks tell me if I’m wrong. For a device that has all these with no Keyboard, (yet) managed to squeez in the “Crtl+Alt+Del” in there -Why? Does it mean any device powered by Windows needs these keys no matter what?
Here is the detailed specifications of the device.

I’m guessing the Crtl Alt Del key is for Windows log-in.
I think ultraportable hits the nail on the head when describing this device. It’s small and powerful.
