Ruggedbook — it’s only Semi-Rugged though

A company names has unveiled its new UMPC named the “Ruggedbook”, with the second generation of UMPCs that are already out there, this looks and has the specifications of the first version except this sports a 1.2Ghz Via processor. The interesting fact is that it sports PCMCIA slot.

    TabletKiosk used to sell this as the eo TufTab v7112XT. It’s being listed as unavailable “due to quality control issues” now, which is unfortunate because it’s one of the only UMPCs to offer openSUSE Linux as a preinstalled OS option.
