Samsung Q1b details emerge

Q1 was there and we have had dozens of reviews. Let’s welcome the Q1b which might be in some ways better configured than the Q1.

The Q1b will be powered by a VIA VX700 integrated chipset, which might give some better battery performance. Upto 1GB of Ram and 60 GB Hard drive. Other than that there is no much difference between the two.

I hate these deceptive marketing pictures. If you actually tried to hold a UMPC that way, it’d fall right out of your hand. :(

I bet it will … Well as you know it this is how the marketing works!

I have the Q1 and I am able to hold it as it shows in the picture. I admit it is a tiny bit heavy and I probably could not maintain it for any great length of time; but you can use it as pictured. Note in the picture that the bottom left corner of the Q1 rests under the palm of the hand which is where you feel the pressure when hold it this way.
