So “Sammy” went under the knife again. This time it wasn’t just to see his private parts, it was to upgrade his memory from 512 MB to 1 GB of DDR2 RAM. You can see by my snipping here that he was only functioning with half his capable memory, so a planned purchase from last week that was sitting in a box was the ticket. Just why do they need a 1 cubic foot box for a small RAM module, anyway? I tried upgrading my samsung q1U windows xp table edition, 1gb to a 2 gb. I used this ram: DDR2-667 PC2-5300 SODIMM NOTEBOOK LAPTOP RAM 2G.
After installing, worked pretty well, except fingerprint sensor, usb web cam #1 were missing, also rotate doesn’t work.
Did I install it incorrectly, should I turn it around and try again? Any suggestions would be so appreciated. Thanks a million, Miriam
